China's Stimulus Plan - every bit as nuts as our own

Check out this video about New Ordos, an entire city in China built by stimulus money to prop up their GDP and economy.  The place is practically a ghost-town, as noone has bothered to move in.  Seems like the kind of nut-ball thing our leaders would come up with, doesn’t it?  After all, we have a prison in my area that was built but never occupied because the state decided that they couldn’t afford to staff it.
