The Missouri House of Representatives passes a bill allowing concealed carry on college campuses. Basically there are 2 reasons for this – 1 is that our Constitution states that we have a right be bear arms, and 2, to allow college students the ability to protect themselves from a nut-job shooter, like what happened at Virginia Tech 2 years ago.
In her infinite wisdom, Mary Still, Democrat member of the house says, “Alcohol, raging hormones, immaturity and guns do not mix.”
I can’t vouch for Missouri college kids, but I’d feel a little insulted if I were one. Apparently they are all a bunch of drunken bags of hormones who can’t control themselves, and if allowed to have guns, will lose control and shoot each other.
Why would you assume such a thing, Rep. Still? Is it personal experience? Were your college days full of kids out of control? Or maybe you’re just another liberal politician who assumes that the masses are uneducated, unwashed and ignorant, and can’t be trusted to keep from wiping each other out. If it weren’t for the government protecting us from ourselves, we’d all be running aorund like savages.
