This guy makes me sick.
Richard Glen Strandlof, aka Rick Duncan.
He’s supposedly a mental patient who lied about being in the Pentagon at 9/11 and also lied about serving in Iraq. I say “supposedly” because he’s obviously intelligent enough and aware enough to manage to fool a lot of people into believing his lies. It’s hard to say if he did it for the attention or money – that’s still being determined. What’s clear, however, is that people like Strandlof dishonor our real soldiers and veterans, who HAVE put their lives on the line for our country.
It’s also clear that the left-wing media is so eager to hear stories about things like homeless veterans that they’ll talk to anyone who furthers their agenda without even bothering to check their references.

I do agree that this is a slap to all those that have served, like myself. I’ve served in the USMC.
YOU NEED TO GET YOUR FACTS CORRECT…. you attacked only the LEFT-WING MEDIA…. BUT YOU ARE FORGETTING AND FAILING TO DISCLOSE that many RIGHT-WING AND VERY CONSERVATIVE media outlets, such as those in COLORADO SPRINGS have also been so earger to sell instead of educating and informing based on truth. Both sides have fallen victim to this man.
Well, as much as I appreciate the comment left, I wish you’d hold back on the shouting a little.
As for your points: you may or may not have served in the USMC. I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt at this time, but if I were publishing a story from you about your time in the service, I’d probably at least file a request for your service record to make sure.
As for your complaints about my facts… I do take them to heart, and decided to spend some time tracking down the right-wing and very conservative media outlets that had been suckered by Strandlof. Unfortunately I haven’t had much luck. Of course, when you think about it, why would a right-wing media organization publish anything anti-war? That’s just dumb.
If you can send me some links to these very conservative news outlets where they listened to Strandlof and published his lies, I’d appreciate it.
