Michelle warns GOP to clean house
Couldn’t have said it better myself than Michelle Malkin’s posting telling the GOP to clean house. Conservatives are sick and tired of being a part of, and trying to defend, the Republican Party, when it refuses to kick out dirtbags and corrupt scumbags. I for one am so sick of being stuck in arguments where I point out what’s wrong with some Democrat only to have someone say, “Yeah, but the Republicans are just as bad! Both parties are corrupt!”
We don’t HAVE to be just like the Democrats. We can be the party of honor and pride and decency that rises above. It’s time to give the boot to the Mark Sanfords of this country. Here’s the message the GOP should be delivering to Sanford:
“You’re a dirtbag and a poor example of a human being. You no longer stand for family values, truth, honor and integrity, which are backbone tenets of what the Republican Party stands for. You’ll no longer get any support from our organization. We encourage you to step down immediately to spare yourself more embarrassment.”
If the GOP did this, not only would it start to gain back a lot of the respect that it has lost, but it might encourage more quality conservatives to get involved and run for office.
